Personality cocktail From Go-Quiz.com ![]() be sorted @ nimbo.net Background: Yankee born and bred. Favorite Food: Friday's Cheddar Cheese and Bacon chips Personal Motto: In Snape I trust. I'm an approachable person with varying interests. I like to call myself opinionated yet openminded, however, there are spineless types out there who'd rather call me worst things. I would call myself tolerant (If your idea of sexy is putting on subdermal teflon implants underneath the skin on top of your skull, go ahead. I think they are cool, but they are not for me), but if there are a few things that will turn me into the demon's spawn in a flash are: fangirlishness, Sues, BNFs, fantards, feminist pigs and their apologists, when crackfic is called 'gold', when Suethors run amuck and bad parenting. Friend: Sure! Love meeting new people. I won't bite. At first ! ^_~ ![]() Where I would love to live eventually: England or somewhere in the Scandinavian countries. California weather stinks. Blue skies and clear weather my ass. Hobbies: Reading, writing, music, running, surfing(the net, HATE the beach, I shoulda been a vampire!). Favorite writers: Mary Wollstonecraft, Carol Anne Duffy, JK Rowling, Greg Rucka Favorite artists: (Comic) Brian Bolland, Jim Lee, Dale Eaglesham, Dan Brereton, Alex Ross (Non Comic): Rembrandt, Giotto, Giorgone, Peter Paul Reubens, Anne Geddes Favorite Actors: Johnny Depp, Jack Nicholson, Alan Rickman, Marilyn Monroe, Julianne Moore, Sir Antony Hopkins, Jake Gyllenhaal Favorite Pairings/OTPS/LBDs: Batman/Catwoman, Batman/Joker, Joker/Jeannie Napier, Harley Quinn/Poison Ivy, Harry Potter/Luna Lovegood, Frollo/Esmeralda, Hades/Persephone, Paul Stanley/Ace Frehley Interesting bit of trivia: I started out (surprise, surprise) reading comics because of Joker and Harley, but I had too many WTF moments with other fans as well as blatant bias and immaturity turned me off from the pairing (mostly). I made the mistake of friending someone looking for some info but found out that like so many other saplings, they were just as shallow and deluded as their shipper bretheren. I don't have a problem with people who want to write about abuse, but I do have issues with anyone who tries to convince me that it's "complex" art and try to come up with something and try to use a guide from Cosmogirl as an apparatus. Your wank is like crackfic to me, and you're more than welcome to talk about me in your own journals, but don't fling crap in my own space because the rest of my clan will point and laugh at you. Don't confuse complexity with excuses and don't patronize me or anyone who disagrees with you. I've done my research. I've already reported some asshole for doing such a thing and I won't hesitate to do it again. I can't stand fanaticism. You have been warned, so think before you scream bloody murder and get the urge to click on my journal and talk out of your ass because I offended you. Quotes to live by I do take my work seriously and the way to do that is not to take yourself too seriously-Alan Rickman Just because you're a perfectionist doesn't mean you're perfect-Jack Nicholson The only creatures that are evolved enough to convey pure love are dogs and infants-Johnny Depp The truth is I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves. They didn't bother to find out who and what I was. Instead they would invent a character for me. I wouldn't argue with them. They were obviously loving somebody I wasn't. When they found this out, they would blame me for disillusioning them---and fooling them.-Marilyn Monroe When I'm hungry, I eat. When I'm thirsty, I drink. When I feel like saying something, I say it-Madonna When did you start writing? When my kindergraten teacher, Ms. Chasen, taught me to handle a pencil with care. I started writing for myself when I was in high school after my English teacher, Mr. Edwards, brought me out of my shell while we shared journal thoughts in class. I was also getting into my favorite genre of music, and part of that style, I incorporated into my work. I don't think I will pursue a career in writing, but as a freelancer, I say, never say never! Some of my earilest influences were 80s song lyrics. I cite Paul Stanley and Nikki Sixx as early infuences. When will you start writing for other fandoms? It's hard to say. University is a far more demanding lifestyle, and I am not talking about the all nighters, the mixers, and finals either! I miss the simplicity of community college. More likely than not, I will delve into some fanart which I will post in lj. Writing a story takes time and thought which usually takes me anywhere from about two weeks to a month to complete. With fanart, it takes less time. I like the fusion style. Why are you so mean? I am not mean, I am just opinionated. I just hate whatever is popular. Who do you think will win the 2008 Presidential race? At this moment I would say Barrack Obama. Hillary will come a close second. She is obviously not her husband, which is good, but I can already smell a scandal that will put her a breath short of a victory. I am a Libertarian with both conservative and liberal leanings. I would call myself a dissident feminist/men's advocate. Do you have any kids? I am the proud mother of a Netherland Dwarf/Mini rex rabbit named Johnny, 3 cockatiels (Ace, Phoenix II, and Selina) and a parrot named Lilah.
